I collect two things:

Hands and Words.

I have countless books.

I rely on my Poetry books to see me through

the Dark Nights of my soul.

A small selection of my Poetry Collection

My hand collection reminds me that there are many ways in which we reach out to one another.

There are many ways in which we pray:

I have hands held in prayer, hands outstretched in need, hands in a Mudra pose.

A few of my many hands...

I have the fist of rebellion

and a hand holding high the peace symbol.

We choose how we Reach Out.

We choose how we Pray.

My hands, these Poets

remind me to Choose well:

To Reach out, to hold tight.

A special hand, a gift, reminds to carry my Heart in my hand:

to offer it.

My Heart held in my open Hand.

Peace,  Jen

THE single clenched fist lifted and ready,
Or the open asking hand held out and waiting.
For we meet by one or the other.

  1. I’m books&eyes collector
Through books I find wisdom & through eyes I seek The Truth,
but I loved the idea of hands; immortalizing thoughts, erasing cold, wiping tears, giving the needy, collecting preciousness & praying peace…
